My boiler has stopped working. What should I check first?+
Check the boiler pressure gauge (it should usually sit between 1 and 2 bar), make sure the gas supply and electricity are on, and note any fault code on the display. Never open the boiler casing yourself. If you smell gas, turn off the supply, open windows and call the National Gas Emergency number on 0800 111 999.
Do you repair every make of boiler?+
Josh works on the common domestic makes, including Worcester Bosch and Navien. Tell him your make and model when you call and he will confirm before booking.
Is it worth repairing an old boiler?+
Often yes, but not always. If the fault is minor, repair is usually the sensible route. If the boiler is very old, keeps failing or parts are hard to find, Josh will talk through replacement without pressure.
